iOS privacy

Last updated: October 31, 2026.

Document in preparation. Data processing in the distributed iOS version still needs to be confirmed. This is not yet a final privacy policy suitable for App Store submission.

App and controller

This page concerns LightHub for iPhone and iPad, an independent app developed by Adam Besrest. It is separate from the website privacy policy. Contact for personal data questions: besrest.adam@gmail.com.

Photos, files and metadata

LightHub can import images from Photos or Files, display and edit them and export JPEG or PNG copies. These files may contain metadata, including equipment, capture or location information. Exactly how this data is read, copied, retained and exported must be verified in the distributed iOS version.

iOS permissions

When iOS requests permission, the app must explain its use. You can review LightHub permissions in your device settings. The type of access used to select and save photos still needs to be confirmed for the submitted version.

Collection and network connections

The presence or absence of accounts, usage analytics, diagnostics, advertising, tracking and file uploads to a server has not yet been confirmed for iOS. No “no data collected” claim is made at this stage.

Purposes and legal bases

Operations required for image editing must be distinguished from optional processing. Applicable purposes, legal bases and consent mechanisms still need to be specified after technical verification.

Third-party services and recipients

Third-party components and services that may receive data, along with their purposes and safeguards, must be identified for the submitted version. The behavior of the Windows software does not establish how the iOS version behaves.

Retention and deletion

Retention periods for imported images, projects, caches and diagnostics must be documented. The effects of the app’s trash and uninstallation on that data still need to be confirmed. Keep an independent copy of your originals.

Your choices and rights

You can manage iOS permissions in system settings. To request access, correction or deletion of any data held by the publisher, or ask about consent, email besrest.adam@gmail.com. Ways to manage data stored by the app still need to be confirmed before distribution. You may submit a complaint to the CNIL.

Updates to this document

This page will be finalized based on the verified behavior of the distributed version. App Store Connect disclosures must match this policy and the app’s actual practices.
